FoSS
Friends of Streatley School (FoSS) is a registered charity. Our main aim is to raise funds to pay for the extra resources which enhance the educational experience of pupils at Streatley Primary School. We have most recently enhanced the school grounds with fund raising money and the Sports Premium fund to provide the children with an all weather running track. We have bought music stands and provided LKS2 with an extra term of violin tutoring. Each year we supplement the school's travel to ensure being small in size does not prevent them from visiting places far a field. We also send the children annually to the Watermill near Newbury to a pantomime. In January 2021 a parental donation contributed to the development of the pond area at the front of the school.
A selection of exciting events and regular activities throughout the year which include: infant and junior discos, parent social events, seasonal races, hunts and fetes all take place.
As parents of Streatley you are automatically part of FoSS and you are welcome to come along to committee meetings and join the committee at any time. It’s a great way to get more involved with the school- there is always something to do, either as a member of the committee or by helping out on specific events run by your year group. Please don’t think it’s not for you!
If you would like to get involved, please either see us at school or contact fosschair@yahoo.com
